UNDERGRADUATE STUDY

Japan is undeniably an Asian country with an excellent education quality, which is evident by the existence of worldwide acknowledged prestigious universities with highly reputable achievements.

 

Universities in Japan highly hold onto traditions, as much as they are influential in the field of researches in technologies such as robotic sciences, natural sciences, pharmaceutical studies, and many more, which resulting in the produce of internationally recognised industrial product brands.

 

The government of Japan are highly enthusiastic in welcoming international students and has opened up opportunities for as much as 300,000 foreign students to study in their country by the year of 2020. Japan's government is optimistic in terms of offering the chance to experience the most authentic Japanese culture, as well as learning the language in the comfortable and dynamic education facilities and environment.

 

The duration of study in Japan, similar to Indonesia, is also set to 4 years of Undergraduate Programs (Bachelor's degree), 3 years of Post-graduate Program (Master's degree), and 3 years of Doctorate Studies (Doctorate's degree).

REQUIREMENTS OF ENROLLMENT

  1. Prospective student has finished the 12 years earlier education (student is required to attend 'Special Preparation Program' in a Japanese Language School in case of attending less than 12 years of basic education, i.e. 10 - 11 years of school).
  2. Prospective student is required to be at least 18 years old to enter University in Japan.
  3. Prospective student is required to have proficiency in Japanese at least with N2 - N1 level. However if the prospective student is attending international program with English as the instruction language, Japanese language proficiency is not mandatory.

ENROLLMENT PROCESS

Enrollment process for prospective student who desire to enroll to a university or a vocational program with Japanese as instruction language but isn't proficient in Japanese:

Students from Indonesia generally attend Japanese language program in a Japanese Language School for 1.5 to 2 years as a preparation to enrol to a university or vocational program.

Japanese Language School in Japan mostly provide preparatory course for university or vocational program enrolment.
